FlipperHelper is built for resellers who source from many places. The app uses a flexible “market” concept — you save each location you source from, with optional GPS auto-detection, entry fees, and per-market profit tracking. Below is the full list of source types the app handles, with notes on each.

United Kingdom

UK sourcing locations

Car boot sales

The classic UK reseller staple. Outdoor, weekend, often early start. Save each car boot venue as a market — Wimbledon, Battersea, Kempton Park, Stockwood. Add the entry fee for each visit (these vary by visit type and time). The app supports GPS auto-suggest so the right car boot is selected automatically when you arrive. Charity shops

Indoor, daily, lower-volume per visit but consistent. Save each charity shop or chain (Oxfam, British Heart Foundation, Mind, Cancer Research, Sue Ryder). Many resellers run a “charity loop” — three or four shops on the same trip. Track each visit and the dashboard tells you which shops are actually worth your time. Antiques fairs and vintage fairs

Vintage markets

Flea markets

UK flea markets vary widely — some are weekly traders' markets, others are weekend events at agricultural showgrounds. See the flea market flipping guide.

Jumble sales and boot fairs

Smaller, often church or community-run. Lower volume, lower per-piece value, but very low sourcing costs. Same tracking workflow.

Auctions

Live auctions, online auctions (i-bidder, easyliveAuction, the-saleroom), and end-of-stock auctions. Track buyer's premium and lot fees as expenses on each item.

US sourcing locations

Thrift stores

Goodwill, Salvation Army, Savers, ARC, Value Village, local independents. Save each store and visit. See the thrift store flipping app post.

Garage sales and yard sales

Smaller-scale than estate sales, neighbourhood-driven. Use the GPS auto-suggest to recognise repeat sellers if you do regular Saturday loops. See the garage sale flipping guide.

Goodwill outlets (“the bins”)

Pay-by-pound outlets where Goodwill ships unsold goods. Volume sourcing — track average cost per pound and whether it converts to profit. Same per-store tracking applies.

Other regions

Australian op shops and garage sales

Op shops (Vinnies, Salvos, Lifeline, Anglicare) and garage sales work the same as UK charity shops and US garage sales. The app supports AUD as a currency. Track Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace, and Depop AU sales.

Canadian thrift stores and yard sales

Value Village, Salvation Army, local thrifts, plus garage and yard sales. CAD currency support. Poshmark Canada, Facebook Marketplace, and Kijiji listings tracked.

French brocantes and vide-greniers

Same multi-currency workflow as France. EUR purchases, automatic conversion, GBP/USD home-currency reporting.

Online

Online and other sources

eBay clearance and “buy to flip”

Buying on eBay to relist on Vinted, Depop, or other platforms. Track the original eBay purchase price as cost-of-goods, plus original eBay shipping as an expense.

Facebook Marketplace deals

Local pickup or shipped Facebook deals. Save the seller's general area as a market if you make repeat trips.

Wholesale and dealer pickups

Buying from a dealer or wholesaler. Save the dealer as a market and track each pickup. Buyer's premiums or auction fees are recorded as expenses.

House clearances

Whole-property clearance for a fixed fee. Often produces hundreds of items at near-zero per-item cost. Track the fixed fee as a single expense allocated across the items.

Inherited or gifted stock

Items inherited or given to you for resale. Track them in the app at zero cost, so the dashboard shows the full sale price as profit (after platform fees).
