Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
Introduction
FlipperHelper ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Oleksandr Prudnikov, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("FlipperHelper" or the "App").
We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. This policy applies to users in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and all other regions where the App is available.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Purchase Records: Item descriptions, purchase prices, sale prices, dates, and associated market/seller names that you enter into the App.
- Photos: Images you take or select for your inventory items.
- Market Information: Names and optional location coordinates of markets you add.
- Seller Information: Names of sellers you choose to track.
- Expense Records: Entry fees and transport expenses you log.
- App Settings: Your preferences such as enabled selling platforms, notification settings, and display options.
Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: With your permission, we access your device location to suggest nearby markets. Location data is only used locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Anonymous Usage Data: We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how the App is used—for example, how often it is opened and how many items are added or marked as sold. This data is fully anonymous: it contains no personal information, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and nothing that identifies you or your device. We are not able to track you across apps or websites, so no tracking permission prompt is shown.
Information from Third-Party Services
- Google Account: If you choose to connect Google Drive for export and photo sync, we access your Google email address and name to identify your account. We use the limited
drive.filescope, which only allows access to files created by FlipperHelper—not your other Google Drive files.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide the App's functionality:
- Core Features: To track your purchases, listings, sales, and calculate profits.
- Photo Backup: To sync your item photos to your Google Drive (if enabled).
- Data Export: To generate spreadsheets of your data in your Google Drive (when you request it).
- Notifications: To send local reminders about unlisted items (if enabled).
- Market Suggestions: To suggest nearby markets based on your location (if permitted).
- Analytics: To measure anonymous, aggregate usage—such as active users and which features are used—so we can improve the App. This never includes your inventory, photos, prices, or any personal data.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's features.
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. This includes:
- All purchase, sale, and expense records
- Market and seller information
- Photos (original copies)
- App settings and preferences
Google Drive (Optional)
If you enable Google Drive sync:
- Photos are uploaded to a folder called
FlipperHelper_App/images/in your Google Drive. - Exported spreadsheets are saved to your Google Drive.
- This data is protected by your Google account security.
No External Servers
FlipperHelper does not operate any servers, and your personal data—inventory, photos, prices, markets, and sellers—is never transmitted to us. The only personal data that leaves your device goes to your own Google Drive, which you control and can disconnect at any time. Separately, we receive anonymous, non-personal usage statistics through TelemetryDeck, as described above and below.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data only leaves your device in these circumstances:
- Google Drive Sync: When you choose to back up photos or export data to your own Google Drive account.
- Device Backups: If you back up your iPhone via iCloud or iTunes, App data may be included in those backups (controlled by Apple).
- Anonymous Analytics: Anonymous, non-personal usage statistics are sent to TelemetryDeck (see Third-Party Services). This contains no personal data and cannot be linked back to you.
Your Rights
All Users
You can:
- Access your data: All your data is visible within the App.
- Edit your data: Modify any records directly in the App.
- Delete your data: Delete individual items or use the full data reset in Settings.
- Export your data: Export all data to Google Sheets at any time.
- Disconnect Google: Revoke Google Drive access in the App's Settings.

- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data (available directly in the App).
- Right to Erasure: Delete your data (available directly in the App, or delete the App).

- Delete personal information.
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data).

Your data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. We do not retain any copies of your data on external servers.
If you use Google Drive export:
- Photos and exports remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.
- Disconnecting Google Drive from the App does not automatically delete files already uploaded—you can manage these directly in Google Drive.
Children's Privacy
FlipperHelper is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Third-Party Services
Google Drive API
FlipperHelper uses the Google Drive API to:
- Upload item photos to your Google Drive.
- Create and update spreadsheets with your exported data.
We request only the drive.file scope, which limits our access to files created by the App. We cannot access your other Google Drive files. Google's privacy policy applies to data stored in Google Drive: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google API Services User Data Policy
FlipperHelper's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use Google Drive access to provide the App's photo sync and data export features.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the App's functionality.
TelemetryDeck (Analytics)
FlipperHelper uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage analytics. TelemetryDeck is built for privacy: it does not collect personal data, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and derives a non-reversible, salted anonymous identifier so we can count active users without identifying anyone. TelemetryDeck's privacy policy: https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy/
Apple Services
The App may interact with standard Apple services (Photos library, Location Services, Notifications). Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
